Mistle Thrush
Turdus viscivorus
Larger and paler than a Song Thrush, with bolder spots on the chest and a distinctive rattling flight call.
- Habitat: Parks, farmland, woodland edges; likes tall trees for nesting.
- When to See: When to See: Can be spotted year-round on the mainland; more occasional visitor to Lihou.
- Diet / Food: Insects, earthworms, berries, and mistletoe.
- Length: 27–28 cm
