Common Gull

Larus canus
A medium-sized gull with a gentle look, the Common Gull sports a pale yellow bill and greenish legs. Not as flashy as some of its relatives, it is a winter visitor, often seen resting on rocks or flying low over the water.
- Habitat: Open, exposed coastlines, estuaries, and occasionally near human settlements.
- When to See: Mainly a winter visitor and migrant
- Diet / Food: Opportunistic feeder β small fish, crustaceans, and sometimes scraps or insects.
