Slender Parsley-piert

Aphanes australis
A tiny annual plant with finely divided leaves that can look a bit like parsley from above. Often forming a flat, ground-hugging rosette, it’s easy to miss unless you’re looking closely.
- Habitat: Bare or lightly vegetated ground, sandy patches, disturbed turf
- When to See: Grows and flowers in spring and summer
- Length: Typically only a few centimetres tall
