Yorkshire Fog
Holcus lanatus
A softly hairy grass with grey-green leaves that can appear slightly fuzzy. The flower heads often have a pinkish tinge, giving it a “misty” look—hence the name “fog”.

- When to See: Flowers from late spring to midsummer
- Length: Can reach 50–80 cm
